The department has been increasing its course offerings in continental philosophy, feminist philosophy, Africana philosophy and the philosophy of race. We just hired Alfred Frankowski, with an expertise in Critical Race Theory, African American Philosophy, Post-Colonialism, Genocide Studies, 19th & 20th Century Continental Philosophy and Aesthetics.
