The department is especially strong in philosophy of science (with emphases in philosophy of statistics, climate change and philosophy of physics) and in philosophy of language and logic (with emphasis on formal semantics and semantic paradoxes) and philosophy of mind (with emphasis on philosophy of cognitive science).
