Additional Information: 
All of our students are provided with a five-year funding package that includes tuition waivers that cover almost all tuition and fees during the academic year (excluding summer). The remaining fees that students are responsible for total about $248/quarter. Students also receive a monthly stipend for the academic year, and health insurance as part of their funding package. We continue funding students beyond their five-year funding package as we have funds available. The PhD program consists of 12 philosophy courses (across three distributions areas, and including a formal methods course and at least 6 seminars), as well as two teaching courses, and two pre-dissertation courses.

The Master's may be awarded after passing the qualifying paper, as well as having completed 11 philosophy courses (across three distributions areas, and including a formal methods course and at least 4 seminars), as well as one teaching course.
