All of our students are provided with a five-year funding package that includes tuition waivers that cover almost all tuition and fees during the academic year (excluding summer). The remaining fees that students are responsible for total about $248/quarter. Students also receive a monthly stipend for the academic year, and health insurance as part of their funding package. We continue funding students beyond their five-year funding package as we have funds available.
The PhD program consists of 12 philosophy courses (across three distributions areas, and including a formal methods course and at least 6 seminars), as well as two teaching courses, and two pre-dissertation courses.

The MA portion of the program overlaps with the requirements of the PhD program. The Master's may be awarded after passing the qualifying paper, as well as having completed 11 philosophy courses (across three distributions areas, and including a formal methods course and at least 4 seminars), as well as one teaching course.
